We were given a model of a house and were instructed to unwrap the UWV mapping of the house to demonstrate our texture mapping skills. Below is the final rendered image of my house as well as the 5 UWV maps that I used to set up my textures.

Dinosaur Texture Painting
We were given a model of a dinosaur that had been previously UVW unwrapped, as well as a JPG template of the unwrapped UWV. We then had to create our own realistic textures and apply it to the dinosaur to create a seamless and realistic texture. Below are the four basic views of the dinosaur showing a 360 degree view of the texture as well an image of my flattened texture map.
Three Point and Daylight Lighting Excercise
We were set two tasks in which we had to create a realistic lighting effect. The first was to set up a lighting system that gave the appearance of daylight. This meant having the correct lighting so that direct and reflected light was apparent, giving the model a more realistic look.
The second was to create a three point lighting system that effectively lights up the scene and creates shadows in a realistic sense without losing key details to the model by over lighting or creating shadows that are too dark.
Low Poly Sci-Fi Gun
We had to create a low poly 3D model of a Sci-Fi gun, based on a reference image provided. Above is a screenshot of my gun showing the poly count and the wire frame.
This is a rendered image of my gun, some of the edges aren't completely flat which is what I believe is causing the shadow rendering errors across the chamfer of the handle.
